I have so much to learn. I think of myself as a life-long learner, so I feel confident I will make the best of this learning opportunity. I am excited for the opportunity to learn about using technology to reach the diverse population of learners in my classroom.
I loved the presentation by Dr. Ohler today. The story mapping was very useful and easy to follow. I had many ideas popping through my mind as we went through that process.

What role do you think visual literacy has in your classroom?
Knowing that the concept of visual literacy is the ability to create and use images to communicate I can only see an opportunity for enhancing learning in my classroom. Visual literacy is another way for students to learn and for them to demonstrate what they know. I always have a couple of very tech savvy 6, 7 or 8 year olds and I know they will eat this opportunity right up!
